This advert first appears in the Sunday Times of Sydney, 12 Jan 1913. Appears in Queensland in Townsville Daily Bulletin, 6th Feb 1913. Later that week appears in other around the country. Last printing was in 1921. |
Burial |
At Cairns Family History - check against their card catalogue doesn't show this inscription. This suggests the plaque was installed after 1983-4. Cairns council's "new" system is about 18 months old. Previous data location unknown. (May need to FUP Brisbane archives) Council records (microfiche at Cairns Family History) show she was an Old Age Pensioner and that the plot cost £5. Discussion with Aileen suggests that the info on the death certificate would be the sort of details that would have been supplied to the hospital on admission. |
Note
|
August Peter & Elizabeth Daniel are at the same address in the Electoral Rolls for 1903 (136 West street Rockhampton), August Peter only for 1905 (136 West Street Rockhampton), both for 1905 (Bennet street) |

Extensively advertised all over the country, the ads in different localities seem to cite local users. Elizabeth Daniels features in ads placed in the The Northern Miner several times between 1913 and 1915. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article79174617 |
